Job Description:   Application Support Analyst – London (Evening and Night Response Team) – (Transportation and Logistics Distribution tracking) £35,000 to £40,000 per annum Unique opportunity for a Software Application Support Analyst - Transportation and Logistics Distribution tracking software – pay £35,000 to £40,000 per annum + individual bonus paid yearly (March) – London based. An opportunity has arisen within a recognised Transportation and Distribution research organisation for an Application Support Analyst to join a team and help support hundreds of users within the EMEA, and predominantly the APAC-Pacific, America, and APJ regions. You will work as an integral part of a team, this suit someone is keen to offer user centric support and is happy supporting an expanding user base and often resolving issues and handing over escalated queries to software development teams or logging them for as a handover for colleagues within application support. The client has a 24/7 operation across 5 continents, more than 1000 employees worldwide, and have been operating for over 100 years, their new product provides integrated shipping and logistics support it’s currently being used by their customers within the Petroleum, Marine and Service and Supply industries. You’ll play a key role in providing support for multi-platform business critical applications within multiple regions, joining the team and working hours between 5.30pm to 12.30am from the London Head office. You’ll gain exposure to working to a large tracking and indication logistics database. Don’t worry, full product training for people who are able to demonstrate the right attitude and appropriate base skills level so no need to worry about past product experience however if you have previously worked on Logistics or Tracking applications this would be a huge advantage for you and would allow you to understand the core business nuances.
